I really love Webkinz and Ebay. I bought another Webkinz - not the actual plush animal, just another code to use online.

This is kinda sad - I'm 24, and I love these things. I just like the games (solitaire, mahjong, a matching game, basic move and hop video games) and the fact that they have cute little toys and items and food is just gravy. I also like decorating their rooms - that reminds me of Animal Crossing for Game Cube. This game is basically the Sims for animals. And how cool is that???

So yes. I now own Jade. The frog is the pet of the month, so I got some extra neat collectible stuff for that.

I am almost finished with comprehensive exam #1. Almost. I just need to tighten up my conclusion, write two more paragraphs on history and something else that I don't remember, edit the whole thing and then do my bibliography and footnotes. My goal is to finish this one tonight and do the layout for the next. I think I should be able to accomplish that. It's 6 pm. I can go until like 10 without completely bugging out.

Molly is sitting on my lap right now as I type this. She's a sweetie, but she does smell a little funny.

Tomorrow is Tuffy's 12th Birthday! I can't believe my baby boy is going to be 12! He has outlived any other Boston Terrier that we have had. Scary thought - he was bought from a mall pet store.

Dave went apple picking today and has some apples for me. I hope he stops over later cause I really want to see him after working on homework all day! He took a vicodin for his arm which I think is kinda crazy, but if it hurts, it hurts!!!

how do you buy a code without buying the animal?? i've wanted one forever but i don't want to shell out the cash for the animal bc they aren't very cute, i don't like their stringy yarn fur lol

On ebay you can. Search webkinz code only and there will be some. Certain animals may only be about $5 for the code only. It really doesn't matter what animal you have.

I just got to the point where I don't really want any more stuffed animals. I think they're cute, but at the same time, i won't do anything with them, ya know? So I've resorted to just buying the codes. I do have a few animals though.

It's an online children's game where you buy a stuffed animal in the store (kinda like a beanie baby) and it comes with a code. You log into www.webkinz.com, create an account and enter the code. This then gives you a virtual version of the stuffed animal. You play games to earn kinzcash, and then use the kinzcash to buy things for your pet - food, clothing, furniture, rooms for the house, etc. The games are easy enough for children to play (duh) but hard enough to be challenging for, say, someone like me. hahaha. I'm terrible with advanced game systems, so these are computer games that are interesting yet not impossible.
There are also collectible items that came with each virtual animal, and you just put those items in your room.

It's a cross between the Sims, Animal Crossing, and someone else said Second Life, but I don't know what that is, so I can't say whether or not this is true.

There's another online game I like, PuzzlePirates, at www.puzzlepirates.com (I think - after you subscribe you download the game to your desktop and then connect each time you log in) Those are fun too - I like puzzle games and basic video games so much more than the 3d stuff that is on gaming systems now!
