I'm so stressed right now and I'm only sorta handling it well.
The past two weeks have been wonderful in terms of relationships with my friends - I have hung out with Dave like I do every week, along with Gina, Stephanie, Karen, Jen R, and met Agata!

Last night Jen and I went out to eat, and then on to Barnes and Noble for coffee to look at wedding magazines. We discussed locations for her to have her wedding - I kinda know a bunch about NJ wedding locations from when my sister was planning, and also I talked about it a lot with Dave's sister. Plus, when I'm bored, I look at them for fun. haha. Her #1 location choice as of now is a place I have been to down by my townhouse that is gorgeous. I hope she has it there!!!

Jen and I haven't hung out in about 3 years, with the exception of one night when we ran into one another at a bar on karaoke night. We have had random conversations, and there was no falling out or anything, but we just lost touch. So last night was wonderful cause we picked up exactly where we left off - which was great! We were kinda cheesy and like, "Yey, my friend is back!" haha. But seriously, it was so great to see her and we have had so many fun times in the past, so it was good. She used to live with me at my parents' shore house in the summer of 2000 when we performed at Surflight together - I was 16 and she had to drive my ass around cause I didn't have a car!! We also used to go on random weekend trips all summer long - and then life just happened the way that life always does. I graduated and got involved with grad school and met Dave. She moved to another area of NJ with a roommate she is no longer close with. She went job hunting and found the job where she is now. She met her now-fiance. So yeh. We're both now close to the same place in life (or at least I will be there as soon as I graduate - 3 more months) so it's nice that we are re-connecting.

And it was fun to look at wedding dresses and stuff for her!! haha

However, I've been a social butterfly, but my homework is super stressing me out. I sent off my qualifying paper proposal for FIT last night. I had most of it completed last week, but I edited it and got the bibliography together yesterday. I have a mid-term this week for Decorative Arts that I am half-way through. I really need to get my ass in high gear on that one. My final paper topic for Modern Textiles got approved, which also made me breathe a sigh of relief. Now I just need to work on it. My final paper topic for Decorative Arts is "Diners" and I'm also excited about that.

Now I just need to actually start writing these papers.

My MSU thesis isn't "a mess" but it isn't completely organized either. Hmph. I also want to finish another website by Thursday and I have some other freelance work I would like to do as well.

I also need to pick up a headband at Target (random) and get coolant for my car cause the light has been going on FOREVER. Eh.

So that is my life in a nutshell. I am actually liking my enV phone which is a shock! I'm keeping busy, but I almost feel as if it is finally starting to catch up with me...

Edit: In January of 2004 I did this, and I wanted to try again to see if I had any better results. I don't. I still write like a 5th grader.

Well I am not doing too much better, as it turns out. I write like a 6th grader.
