So, yeh, I'm really pathetic at keeping this updated. I'm really going to try a bit harder now.
I'm not so ready for Christmas yet. I still need to do some key things, like put up a tree and stockings. I have fnished most of my shopping, but not all of it. I'm hoping that by the end of this week I will have everything done so that I will be able to enjoy the weekend.
Today at work we are going out to lunch for my boss' birthday. I'm excited about that cause we went to the same place last year and it was fabulous. Can't wait!
Yesterday was our annual cookie exchange. I ate way too many cookies in the morning and was sort of sugared out then for the rest of the day. But, they were really good and it was totally worth it!
I managed to make my way through my first semester at FIT. I'm quite proud of myself. There was a lot of homework and research and whatnot, but I did it! Yey! Only three more semesters to go. I need to also find an internship to do for both my MSU and FIT majors. I should probably do at least part of one over the winter break, if possible. I have a couple ideas, but there is just a lot of paperwork and forms that need to be taken care of and I just haven't had the stomach to deal with it as of lately. Maybe someday soon I'll get my act together.
I still don't understand how it is almost Christmas. Wasn't it just Christmas? How does the time go so quickly?
And 2006 was a good year for me.
Dave and I have been together for almost 2 years now (2 years in February of 2007)
I completed my 1st FIT semester and have about 12 more credits to finish for my MA at MSU in Arts Management. I became a member of the First Baptist Church of Red Bank. I bought a townhouse in Tinton Falls, NJ - and decorated it to my liking. I am still working at MSU as the assistant to the webmaster and love my job a lot! My mom opened a restaurant and I watched her set up a business and took on a part time waitressing job. I saw multiple great Broadway shows. Didn't read as many books as I would have liked, probably just cause I was busy with homeworking and writing papers. I spent a lot of weekends in the summer at my shore house in LBI which was relaxing and fabulous. My family was healthy and yeh, I really had a great year.
I'm excited for Christmas. I'm like a little kid, waiting patiently. It would just be nice if I were a little more organized and then it would really FEEL like Christmas. It is also a little too warm at the moment, which I won't complain about. However, I do remember there were times in December where it was snowing. It's like 60 here. Too funny. I haven't whipped out my heavy duty winter coat yet. It would be fabulous if I didn't have to for the rest of the winter!! (Wishful thinking)...

Wow, it sure sounds like you had a full and fulfilling year! I had no idea that your mom opened a restaurant - that's great! You have such an exciting life...ha. Congrats on completing your first semester at FIT!
