Friday! I like Fridays!
Today I am meeting Dave at his office at the end of the day, and then were are going out to dinner and seeing the high school musical of the district he works in. Last year they did "Cabaret" and this year they are doing "Grand Hotel." They win a lot of the Paper Mill Rising Star Awards (and the Paper Mill Rising Star Consevatory is what I did when I was a sophomore in high school, which led me to audition for Surflight...all sorta connected) so it's interesting to see the well done shows in the area. I'm also excited cause Dave and I don't always have time to go out and eat and have fun together. Each week that goes by is basically just about survival, and finishing projects for work and class. We see each other practically everyday, but it will be nice to just relax and enjoy spending time together. I'm excited.

However, I'm a major dumbass. I parked my car in the deck yesterday - the deck not attached to the train station. It rained, so I got off at a different station and got picked up. I figured I would get a ride to work tomorrow from either my mom or sister or her husband. Everyone left for work. I was a little late. I got ready, got my things ready for tonight cause I won't be stopping home. And I walk out the front door and locked it. I seriously couldn't figure out why my car wasn't there. Duh. It's in the parking deck. I called Stephanie and she was shopping for tonight's specials and was on her way to the restaurant (other owner of it, best friend since forever) and she came and got me. But how funny is that? I didn't even realize that I didn't drive my car home, and getting ready it didn't even occur to me that my car wasn't in the driveway. I think I need a nap or something. Or some kind of a break! Spring break is only a week away! I need it!!

Also, Pam, I read your comment and it wouldn't let me reply back. Grr. But I totally understand what you wrote, and I even take it for granted that I am 12 miles to the heart of Manhattan, or 15 minutes by car. 45-60 minutes by train because of all the stops, but for my daily commute it is the easiest. I also meant to tell you and Erin this, and I can't believe I didn't realize it earlier. My school is a block away from the Martha. Like, I walk a short block over, and look to my right, and bam, there it is. That never occurred to me. But that is sorta a lie cause one day I was in the library and saw the big 'ole Marth sign and people standing in front and it never occurred to me why. Duh. Another thing to take for granted. I have a coupon to get free tickets and I'm planning on using it. (Aren't all tickets free though? I think it just has some code for being a student and/or bringing a group. Something like that) and I'm planning on getting some people from my classes to all go over there one day for the taping of a show. I'm excited.

Digicam hasn't arrived yet. Boo.

so i've only read the part to me so far lol but if you go there from fit with a group she will most likely talk to you in the begining of the show, you will also probably be seated closer to the front for the cameras, you should all were they same color or some shirt or something, it will help you get noticed

you're a lucky girl! i'll experience the big city someday... lol
