Back at work!

I have two more sessions left of my financial accounting class. You have no idea how thrilled I am going to be when that is finished. Today I have to give a group presentation on Apple. I am never a team player working in groups and it stresses me beyond imagination. After today, I just have the final and then I will be another 3.0 credits finished towards my MA. Yippee!!

Last night was just a blah, relaxing evening. I worked on my embroidery and read some Jane Eyre. After class tonight, I will work on the finishing touches to my client's site and do a couple of other small things that need to be finished.

Tomorrow I am making dinner for everyone. I will be doing a pork roast, rice and mushrooms, a green bean salad, and then a salad with homemade buttermilk ranch dressing. I'm looking forward to it; I love cooking!

This weekend, Dave and I are going to a dodgeball party. I don't remember whether or not I was good at dodgeball in elementary school. In middle school, I won the 8th grade year end Athletic Award for Most Athletic. (Shocking, no?) I was very good at running, and the shuttle run with the blocks where you have to stop and pick up the wood pieces, I could flex arm hang a while - not forever, but for a while, I could shoot hoops, I was good at lacrosse, I could do a bajillion sit ups in 30 seconds.....all that stuff that they test you for - I for whatever reason, exceled in. I'm not great at softball or pushups though. But who cares. When I told my mom I won Most Athletic (from all the gym teachers) she laughed. hahahahaha.

I was also voted Queen of the 8th Grade formal dance. My most shining achievement in life.

I have a feeling today is going to go by very slowly...

I totally hear you on the group project thing. I am working on a group paper right now, due Friday, and I am so unmotivated. It's hard because to match another girl's formatting, I'm using parenthetical notation instead of footnotes, which I'm used to and which I've learned take up much more space haha. Plus, I am better at grammar than, well, anyone, and I want to correct the other people's grammar because I want to get the best grade possible, but I don't want to offend them. UGH!

I say, "offend away!" You don't want to hand in a paper with grammatical errors! hahaha

Heh. That's usually what I end up doing. No one's been so offended that they won't talk to me again so far.
