Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered... whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

My list isn't really posted in the hopes that I'll get any of it, I just want to post what I'd like this year, and I thought this meme was fun!

1. a Coach bag - any kind! For some reason out of nowhere, I just really would like one!
2. Juicy Couture sweets charm bracelet
3. Webkinz - the elephant, polar bear, persian cat, alley cat, pegasus!!
4. Interesting/fun fabric for dresses - lots of weddings coming up in the next year!
5. Vintage dress patterns to sew
6. Board games for my townhouse, or puzzles! - something fun!
7. Anything from Williams Sonoma - I was looking through their catalog yesterday and found so much I love - cooking/baking stuff in general makes me happy!!
8. Burt's Bees products - the face wash, shampoo, conditioner, marshmellow hand cream, etc.
9. Harry Potter books 2 - 7 (Is 7 the last one?)
10. Random songs for a mix cd - I know I can just go to iTunes for these, but I'm lazy: Nickelback - Rockstar, Matchbox 20 - How Far We've Come, Alicia Keys - No One, Colbie Caillat - Bubbly, Daughtry - Over You, Fall Out Boy - Thanks for the Memories & Dance, Dance

So yeh, that was fun to make, just as a list of things I would get for Christmas in a perfect world. I also need a new winter jacket, but that's for myself to pick out and find. I'm really digging this Juicy Couture Jacket:

I like how it's sorta long for warmth, but not huge and bulky for everday wear. However, it's pricey, and I already have a Juicy Couture jacket. So, I dunno.

Last night Dave came over and we just sat on the couch cause we both still feel like crap. We didn't make it to the AIX date night, and my pledge sister Kathy called asking about us cause she missed me (aww) and both my littles were there! I haven't seen my little Elyse in months! Years, maybe! So I'm sad about that, but I couldn't help the fact that I felt like poo.

Today I plan on finishing or at least hard-core working on my accessories paper. Woohoo.

I also really need to do a mock design for a freelance client. Another new one! Yey!!!!

Dave today is doing his Christmas shopping. Awww.

Ohh! It's December 1st! Update on my 101 in 1001!!!
#45 I went to the Guggenheim this month.
#87 & 88 I got another Little in my sorority this month, Aiko! Yey!
#9 Tri-Star Design, my freelance web business, is growing and doing well! I'm happy!!
#37 I bought a new sewing machine - well, it will be a Christmas gift. But I picked it out!
#3 My internship for MSU is almost finished. It will be completed by the end of December.

So things are coming along well! I'm meeting my goals quite nicely!!!

Thank you!
I just can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong - I click on the link, then enter the three letter code. It then tells me to wait 45 seconds - which is obviously fine. Then, what do I click on to find the file??

It keeps timing out for me :( I hit 'download now' on the free side, and it gets to about 45% finished, and then makes that 'unnnnnnnk' noise and times out. :(

Let me try uploading it to YSI. I am going to the gym now, but I will do it as soon as I get back

Click on free download (where it was counting down before), and it should let you save it from there.

Weird...I tried downloading it myself through megaupload and it wouldn't work :(

Me thinking it was all okay deleted it, so I had to start again. I think I got all the songs I originally had in there...

Hey, did the YSI link work?
Dec. 4th, 2007 03:19 am (UTC)
I downloaded it all happily, but I haven't put it into my iTunes yet - or, I tried, but I was tired, and wasn't sure if I did it correctly.

How can I be so dumb when it comes to iTunes you ask? I'm not sure. But I am. hahaha

Thank you! I got them all the work now!

Can I be super obnoxious and ask for the other new Linkin Park song? Um - Shadow of the day? hahaha Can you email it to me? starlit455@aol.com

Thank you so much for helping me out with this!! You're my hero and I'm so spazzy when it comes to music and ipods and itunes. It's ridiculous. hahaha
