My FIT grades for Fall 2007 are posted:

Advanced Conservation: A
Costume and Textile Mounting Skills: A
Exhibit Planning and Interpretation: A
Special Topics, Accessories: A-

Not to shabby, if I do say so myself! I'm proud of those!

I painted the den in my great aunt's new house today. There is a chair rail in the room, and I completely finished painting the ceiling and the blue above the chair rail (Adagio, a Pottery Barn color by Benjamin Moore) and did most of the under the chair rail color (Clarksville Gray, another PB color). Tomorrow I will do the second coat and touch up of the Clarksville Gray and all the trim in the room in white.

I have a dentist appointment for next week, which is good since it's been on my list of things to do.

I'm anxious to start using my new sewing machine, but I just can't seem to find the time to do so! My Christmas vacation is rapidly going by, and it's crazy! I start my winterim fashion design class at FIT on January 2nd. Should be fun, but it also means I will have work to do!

Rory is chewing a bone on my foot as I write this. Tuffy is such a brat. We had a standing rib roast for Christmas dinner which obviously has, well, ribs. We have been giving ribs to the doggies after each dinner, and our dogs have a habit of wanting to eat their biscuits and food in the living room - as in they all drag cookies onto the living rom rug. Ugh. But we didn't want Tuffy to eat on the rug, so we put up a gate. He sat at the gate with the bone hanging from his mouth - he ONLY wanted to eat the bone on the rug. Brat. But I love him oh so much.

That Tuffy story is so cute :) I'm sure it's cuter when it's not your rug!

Great grades... how dare they give you an A- though!
