This weekend has been insane with FIT and deadlines. Today was the opening of our graduate exhibition, Sole Desire: The Shoes of Christian Louboutin.

I finished and got the web site poasted yesterday. Here it is!

Alyssa and I also spent time in the library working on the final version of the movie that plays on the LCD screen in the exhibition. We quickly learned iMovie through and through and produced one heck of a DVD! :)

My position was Media Manager, and I really enjoyed the experience. The culminating exhibition for 2nd years in this MA FIT program is one of the really neat reasons I was drawn into this program and decided to apply. We had a great time and the show is a success!

All of my friends at FIT also got to meet my mother, sister and David. We all spend so much time together in labs and classes, that we talk a lot about of lives outside of school, and it made me happy that they were finally able to meet one another!

So, the opening is now over. I spent all day in the lab today working on conservation of my 18th century calash bonnet. Sandra and Kathleen were with me and we had a blast, as usual. I then went to Whole Foods for dinner (ceaser salad and a chocolate croissant - how random) and then to Kathleen's dorm to get ready for the opening reception.

I showed Dave the upper floor of classrooms and lockers too, just to show him where I spend a majority of my time, hahaha.

My spring break is quickly approaching. There is a lot of work that I would like to get done during the break time - here's hoping I get a lot accomplished!

Oh - I'm almost finished with Harry Potter 3. I don't have 4 yet - I need to go get it from BookMooch.com!!

I LOVE your dress - the one shoulder look is gorgeous and looks so good on you. Did you make this one too?

Also, the website looks great and the content is interesting, I'm glad you posted a link for all of us :)
