I was over Dave's house last night and he was bidding on a lawnmower part on ebay. He was winning it for most of the evening, and then with 15 minutes left, another person started to bid. He bid again. Again, the other person bid. So, somehow, I asked him - what's the highest you're willing to pay, and he said $65. So, I told him to bid $65.01. He was like, "um, why? I'm just going to bid $65." And I talked him into $65.01 and he was like, "whatever." So he won the auction.

This morning, he calls me after looking through the other bids - the other person's highest bid was $65! He was so thrilled that I had told him to pay that extra cent cause he really needed the part! So, I'm thrilled I can make my boyfriend's life happier and easier, through a penny! haha And, I'm sure he'll be happy that he gets the part cause he needs it!

I told my coworkers about that at work, and how I learned that technique from the Price is Right. Which then got us talking about game shows - and the man who traded up from a paper clip to a house. Very cool. Good for him!

I'm starting to get into e-mail blasts for my web design company as well as clients. Woohoo!

I have a couple of sites I need to work on at work, and a meeting. Should be a good day.

I remember that guy. We were living in Saskatchewan at the time so it was all over the news.

I never bother with the auctions on eBay anymore. I just do Buy It Now because I always get outbid in the last 30 seconds. It makes me mad.
