Today was super busy!

I woke up pretty early, and worked on part of a ruffle for my conservation project, the bonnet. It took about an hour, and then I went off the the city for some FIT lab sewing time. I worked for about 3 hours, and got to the point where I just couldn't take it anymore. Some parts are coming along really well. Other parts just really frustrate me. My friend Kathleen also came to the lab to work on a part of her project, and she reassured me since I was pretty frazzled that all in the world will be well. And that eventually, I will be finished with the bonnet!

I then went home, and basically the day was shot. Dave called me, and he was on his way to go rollerblading around a nearby park with his friend, but that I was to go to his parents' house an hour and half from that point for a bbq dinner. His mom cooked on the grill for me, Dave, Michelle, Thorsten, John and Lisa. We ate outside which was nice, and the food was great! She made grilled chicken with a mustard sauce, pork chops, a salad, zuchinni, asparagus, applesauce with bread. It was really nice and we all hung outside together. I then watched most of Wild Hogs with Dave and his father, talked to Lisa, Michelle and Mrs B. about weddings/showers and looked at some magazines she had got in the mail, and then watched part of Home Alone 2 with David. All in all, it was a really nice evening.

In Home Alone 2, there is a section about turtledoves always staying together, and I asked Dave if he was my turtledove. He was like, of course sweetie! Ha. I found it incredibly cheesey, but cute. Hence the lovebird icon...

I'm home now, and super tired. Tomorrow: I will attempt to do what I always say I will do: homework! Also on the list: finalize a logo, make edits to the first design proposal of a site, and go shopping with my mother. I think I can get all of that done! Dave is going out on his boat again to go fishing with his father tomorrow at some point, and I presume I will see him in the evening when he gets back.

Goodnight all!

I'm always in awe at how you're so busy and yet you get so much accomplished! :) Good job.

I'm super stressed as well, but reading this, "she reassured me since I was pretty frazzled that all in the world will be well" made me feel so much better. It's so true, things will be well.

And the turtledove story is so cute, awww!!! :P

I soooo needed to hear my friend say that, so if it can help you out as well, that's awesome!!
