7.1.08 part 3

Today has been a bit slow. Work day is almost over though.

Yesterday, I arrived at Dave's house and he was outside with his mom, Gracie, and Joey. He was wearing khaki cargo shorts, a red t-shirt, and....

his knee-high blue and navy striped work socks with Keen shoes.

And we went out in public like that for all our shopping (Costco!) and to see Brad at work. He was wearing high socks under his work pants (I guess he wore a blue shirt!) and when he changed to relaxed clothes, he just kept the socks on.

Creepy. And we went out in public.

I'm not sure what's going on after work today. I'm making chicken nuggets (as in, I put the pre-made nuggets on a baking sheet and put them in the oven) and I'm actually pretty excited about that. While food shopping with my mom this past week, they just really appealed to me.

One of my friends on facebook added a reallllly embarassing picture of our 6th grade class. It is so funny and it has received so many comments about memories and what not. Man, I was not attractive. In fact, I honestly think I look the worst in the entire photo! My hair is not good - my skin is broken out. I have braces. I'm taller than everyone else. My face is ummm...unformed? It's a wonder I'm normal looking now. 6th grade was not my year.

can you please post this 6th grade picture!?

it probably can't compete with my braces/purple glasses/unibrow and 20 extra lbs in 7th grade...lol.

ps, i also wish you had a picture of dave's outfit yesterday!!

I would have so told Joseph to change if he wore anything like that LOL What a combo!

I would die if anyone posted old photos of me. My awkward phases were really awkward and I was also very very skinny. I don't want to be reminded of THAT.

LOL, that 6th grade picture was kinda funny---and it's not that embarrassing. Oh, and you and I are the same height in that photo. It's funny to think about how we've all changed since the 6th grade---how we've all developed a personal style, grown up, etc.

Is it just me, or are 6th graders today much "older" looking than we were?
