This weekend so far has been great but it's almost over! Boo!

Friday night, Dave and I headed out to dinner where I had a really really yummy white pizza with spinach. After that, we saw Quantum of Solace. It wasn't like, the "best" movie of all time, but I did enjoy it and it was definitely entertaining and I'm glad we went to see it.

Saturday morning I really didn't do a whole lot of anything, and then went to my ballroom dancing lesson. After that, my mom and I went shopping for new ballroom dancing shoes.I bought these:

And, I was fairly surprised that the size I always buy (10) was too big. I'm glad I went to try them on rather than to just buy them online, but I generally trust online anyway and they wouldn't have fit! Good to know. However, I think they are so pretty, and since I have just been using character shoes for all my lessons so far, I'm really excited now to have "real" ballroom shoes and pretty ones! I figure I'm now into these lessons over a month and I'm sticking to them, so I better at least buy proper (pretty!)shoes!

I also starting some Christmas shopping for Dave. I'm really almost all finished with my Christmas shopping now. It's wonderful.

Saturday night I went to Dave's and we baked chocolate chip cookies and watched the movie Layer Cake since we were on a Daniel Craig kick. Meh. John was over as well, so we had fun talking and joking around with him.

Today is a busy day! Cleaning, organizing, web work and all that fun stuff!

I also finished a web site for my friend Jennifer who is starting a new cookie business. Another friend had designed her logo for her, and I put together a site so she can no do online business - check it out! Her cookies are wonderful! StardustSweets

Oh! I also bought cupcakes the other day from a "new" (been there a year) cupcake bakery in my city. They are amazing. Mr. Cupcakes My favorites are chocolate smoothie and chocolate chip. French toast was pretty friggin' good too, as was chocolate cocoa. Yum!!

That site you designed looks great, that's such a fun business!! I hope your friend is successful. Also, the other cupcakes you mentioned sound incredible - cupcakes are one of my favorite treats. There is a place I go to on Newbury Street in Boston called 'Johnny Cupcakes' (though I believe they are in other locations as well) that makes "healthier" ones and they are INCREDIBLE. Yum!

Congrats on sticking with the dance lessons - I bet the shoes will make it even more fun!

Sounds like you have had a nice weekend. I saw Quantum of solace too and liked it but didn't love it.

You have made me hungry by looking at the yummy cookies and cupcakes, they look amazing! :-) Cupcakes are my favourite, I bake them all the time and am still trying to get the rising and icing right. The cookie website looks great, good work. I hope your friend does well from it.
