Thank you! Ever since I saw this photographer's work, I have always imagined an engagement shoot with him. I'm so happy to finally do it, and happy the I love the pictures! :)

Thanks! There were over 2500 pictures from the shoot, and these are just some of the ones the photographer used for his promotion. I saw alllll of them, and there were smiling shots, but the more I think about it, the more I like some of the serious ones better. I just want to make sure that on the actual wedding day, we take happy shots as well that are more "posed." But, I love his style!

I actually did my own makeup! I was going to hire someone and have my trial for the engagement shoot and then if I liked it, hire her for the wedding. The shoot was a weekday, and she also works full time. So, I ended up doing it myself and really liked the way it looked (glad you do too!) And now I will just do it myself for the wedding. I will get my hair done for the wedding though instead of doing it myself (and it will be down and curled in some fashion.) Also, the makeup trial would have been $85 and day of makeup is $185. I'm thrilled I can just save money and I'll like the way I look just as much, if not better! I'll probably do the exact same thing or something really similar.
