That wake was one of the hardest things I've had to do. I also had a wake the night before for Joe's grandfather. He was 87, so it was more of a celebration of life. But Bobby, wow. His son was there walking around and it looks just like him. He didn't even really look like he was dead, more like he was just sleeping. The room was filled with pictures and I remember being at a lot of the places where the pictures were taken. We were confirmed together and there was one from that, and there was another by the diving boards on a summer vacation we took. Crazy.

When I saw his family, I was just so shocked. I lost it. One of his close friends he grew up with, Tom, was very close to me. I got to talk to him a bit, and we just hugged and hugged for a while and hung on to each other. There were so many nights when Tom, Matt, Bobby and I would just hang out in Bobby's basement and Tom's backyard and everything. I just don't know what to say.
